Cookies, local storage and third-party services used by Pecunnia
Last updated: 30 October 2026
This translation is provided for convenience. In case of discrepancy, the French version prevails.
1. Principle
A cookie or a local storage item is a piece of information recorded in your browser. According to the CNIL, those that are strictly necessary for the service you request do not require consent; the others may only be placed or loaded with your agreement. No optional element is loaded until you have made a choice: the banner offers “Accept all” and “Refuse all” with the same prominence, and you can change or withdraw each choice at any time from the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. Refusing does not limit access to the service, with one exception: the TradingView price chart (see 3.2).
2. Strictly necessary (without consent)
- session_token (cookie): keeps you signed in; secure, inaccessible to scripts, 7 days at most;
- csrf_token (cookie): protects your actions against fraudulent requests, 7 days at most;
- pecunnia-lang and pecunnia-theme (local storage): remember your language and your theme;
- pecunnia-cookie-consent (local storage): remembers your choice on cookies (13 months at most, then a new request);
- pecunnia_conversations (local storage): keeps on your device the history of your conversations with the assistant; it is not transmitted to any third party on this basis.
3. Optional (with your agreement, one switch each)
3.1 Pecunnia audience measurement. Pecunnia counts visits to the public pages served by its own servers (legal pages, glossary…) with an internal tool, without any third-party analytics service. If you accept it, the banner places the cookie_consent cookie (remembers this choice) and our server places the visiteur_id cookie, a random identifier, 13 months at most; it records the page viewed, your IP address and your browser. If you refuse or withdraw your agreement, no measurement is made and these cookies are erased. The pages of the signed-in application are not covered by this measurement.
3.2 Third-party content — TradingView chart. The price chart of the terminal is provided by TradingView, Inc. It is only loaded with your agreement; without it, the terminal shows a placeholder with a button to allow it. Once loaded, it contacts the domains s3.tradingview.com, s.tradingview.com, s3-symbol-logo.tradingview.com, scanner-backend.tradingview.com, www.tradingview-widget.com and widget-sheriff.tradingview-widget.com, which receive your IP address. Recorded in a browser on 30 October 2026: no cookie is placed; the chart stores in the local storage of its own domains its display preferences (tradingview-widget.chartproperties, tradingview-widget.chartproperties.mainSeriesProperties, tradingview-widget.toggle_delete_locked_linetools), a display session identifier (tradingview-widget.sessions) and a storage availability test (tvlocalstorage.available).
4. Other third-party services
- Stripe: on its payment pages (Stripe's domain), Stripe places its own cookies, necessary for security and fraud prevention; see its policy. Pecunnia loads no Stripe script on its own pages;
- Automatic translation (Google Translate): offered only if all languages are activated (this is not the case at launch). Google's script is then only loaded if you open the language selector, and its “googtrans” cookie is only placed if you choose a language;
- Fonts: Inter and JetBrains Mono are hosted by Pecunnia; no request is sent to Google Fonts.
Pecunnia places no advertising cookie or targeting pixel, and loads no advertising measurement tool. Apart from the TradingView chart (3.2), which requires your agreement, and the automatic translation above, no third-party content is loaded on its pages.
5. Durations
session_token and csrf_token: 7 days at most; visiteur_id and cookie_consent: 13 months at most; convenience storage: until you erase it; your choice: 13 months at most, then a new request; TradingView local storage: until you clear it (no cookie recorded).
6. Managing from your browser
You can also erase or block cookies and local storage in the settings of your browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). Blocking strictly necessary cookies prevents signing in.
