General terms of use (CGU)
Rules for accessing and using the Pecunnia platform

This translation is provided for convenience. In case of discrepancy, the French version prevails.
Article 1 — Purpose
These general terms of use (conditions générales d'utilisation, “CGU”) govern access to and use of the Pecunnia platform (“the Service”), published by Matis Bocaccio EI, nom commercial Pecunnia AI(“the Publisher”), accessible at pecunnia.com and app.pecunnia.com.
Pecunnia is an information and research tool intended for individual investors: asset pages and market data, news, news explanations, weekly recaps, portfolio and personal notes, a conversational assistant based on artificial intelligence. Subscription is governed by the general terms of sale (conditions générales de vente, “CGV”), which supplement the CGU.
Use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the CGU. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.
Article 2 — Definitions
- “User”: any natural person holding an account;
- “Assistant” or “AI”: the automatic conversational system integrated into the Service;
- “Generated content”: any answer, explanation or recap produced automatically;
- “Credits”: the unit that measures use of the Assistant, described in the CGV;
- “Portfolio data”: the positions, notes and theses entered by the User.
Article 3 — Account
Creating an account requires a valid e-mail address, which must be verified by clicking on the link sent, and a password — or sign-in through a third-party service offered on the sign-up page. As long as the address is not verified, no part of the application is accessible. The account is reserved for adults acting in a personal capacity.
You are responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials and for the activity of your account. Notify the Publisher without delay in the event of loss or compromise.
Article 4 — Free trial and plans
A verified account may subscribe to a plan with a seven-day free trial period, under the conditions of the CGV (bank card required, no charge during the trial, cancellation possible at any time before it ends). Without a subscription, access to the content of the application is limited. Accounts whose address was verified before 30 October 2026 keep the trial without a bank card then in force until it ends.
The paid plans, their prices and their usage rules are described in the CGV.
Article 5 — User's undertakings
The User undertakes to:
- comply with the applicable laws and regulations;
- not attempt to access other users' data or to circumvent technical or credit limits;
- not disrupt the security or operation of the Service (massive automated extraction, attack, injection of instructions intended to divert the Assistant…);
- not resell, redistribute or commercially exploit the content of the Service without authorisation;
- not make an investment decision solely on the basis of the Assistant's answers.
Article 6 — Nature of the Service: no investment advice
Pecunnia is neither an investment services provider (prestataire de services d'investissement), nor a financial investment advisor (conseiller en investissements financiers), nor a portfolio manager. The Service makes no personalised recommendation to buy, sell or hold, and takes into account neither your situation, nor your objectives, nor your risk tolerance. The Assistant is designed to describe sourced facts and to refrain from any recommendation.
The User remains solely responsible for their investment decisions. See the financial disclaimer.
Article 7 — Artificial intelligence
Content generated by AI is produced automatically; despite checks (sources, dates, filters on wording), it may contain errors or omissions. Your questions and the context needed to answer them are transmitted to third-party language model providers (see the privacy policy).
Article 8 — Third-party data and sources
Financial data and news come from external sources (see the legal notice). News is displayed as a headline, a source and a link to the original article, which remains the property of its publisher. Its accuracy cannot be guaranteed; prices may be delayed, and their date is shown.
Article 9 — Availability
The Publisher endeavours to ensure continuous access to the Service, without any guarantee that it will be free of interruption: maintenance, updates, an incident at a third-party provider (hosting, data, AI, payment) may temporarily limit it.
Article 10 — Intellectual property
The Service, its texts, its visuals, its code and the Pecunnia trademark are protected. A personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use the Service is granted to you for the duration of your account. Your portfolio data, notes and theses remain yours.
Article 11 — Suspension, deletion of the account
The Publisher may suspend or delete an account in the event of a breach of the CGU or of fraudulent use, informing the User except in an emergency or where required by law.
You may at any time export your data and delete your account from your account area. Deletion erases your personal data, subject to statutory retention obligations (in particular accounting obligations). Termination of a paid subscription is described in the CGV.
Article 12 — Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Publisher is not liable for investment decisions made on the basis of the Service or for any resulting losses, or for indirect damage. No clause of this article limits the Publisher's liability in the event of gross negligence or wilful misconduct (faute lourde ou dolosive), nor the rights that the law grants to consumers.
Article 13 — Amendment of the CGU
The Publisher may amend the CGU; the version in force is the one published on the Service. Any amendment is notified by e-mail at least thirty (30) days before it enters into force; a subscriber who refuses it may terminate the subscription free of charge before that date, and any User may delete their account.
Article 14 — Applicable law, mediation, contact
The CGU are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, first send a written complaint to contact@pecunnia.com. The consumer may then use, free of charge, the consumer mediator (médiateur de la consommation) indicated in the legal notice. Failing that, the French courts have jurisdiction, subject to the protective rules applicable to consumers.
